Businesses certified by the State of Wisconsin through the Wisconsin Supplier Diversity Program receive the following benefits:
- Business recognized and verified as MBE, DVB and/or WBE.
- Business name listed on Wisconsin Database of Certified Suppliers. By being listed on the State’s directory, firms in the program have a broader business reach to government and corporate buyers within and beyond the borders of Wisconsin.
- Permissive 5% Bid Preference (MBEs and DVBs).
- Spending with Business included in calculation for Wisconsin's Diverse Spending Goals, which are 5% for MBEs and 1% for DVBs.
